Are you the one to look at risk management from an integrated perspective, to determine the future blueprint of the DLL Risk Governance, to set our risk appetite, to identify our strategic and key risks, to make Risk Governance related projects successful and to provide the DLL community with the appropriate Risk Governance policies, tools, training and communication, then this is your risk place to be.

The objective of the entire risk organization is to enable controlled long-term profitable growth for DLL, within the defined risk appetite, through clear strategies, integrated management of all risks and assuring that risk is everyone’s responsibility.

Day to day

  • Initiate and execute Risk Governance Consultant tasks relatively autonomously, under the supervision of the Global Head of Risk Governance.
  • Communicate and act in close relation with internal stakeholders and senior management. Have impact on regional and global level. The Risk Governance team is the center of the Integrated Risk Management Team.
  • Support the coordination of the annual Risk Appetite Statement, and the cascading of the Group Risk Appetite to the business and our regions.
  • Develop and deliver insightful regular risk appetite monitoring and reporting, both on a group and regional level.
  • Support in delivering the annual Strategic Risk Assessment and in preparing progress reporting.
  • Coordinate the agenda and minutes for our Global Risk Committee.
  • Co-drive improvements in DLL’s risk governance and in simplifying DLL’s risk committee structure.
  • Ensure risk governance related policies and standards remain current and appropriate.
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of a DLL Risk Taxonomy.
  • Further upgrade and enrich our Risk Academy in collaboration with HR Learning & Development.

Essentials

  • University degree in business economics or a related subject.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch.
  • Three to five years’ experience in Risk Management.
  • Good track record in managing internal stakeholder relationships and capability to influence.
  • Eager, pro-active, and hands-on mentality.
  • Applies high standards and has attention for detail.
  • Audit related experience is an asset.
  • Business experience in DLL’s line of business is an asset.
