You’ll also be:

  • Continually inputting to and implementing the Ventures business development strategy to achieve the financial targets and client numbers set
  • Collaborating with internal teams, driving and monitoring leads and providing results or feedback to UK bank teams and senior stakeholders through effective use of MI to assess performance
  • Assisting in the preparation of appropriate pitching documents, liaising with other product partners, bankers, tenders team and services
  • Using data to drive SMART origination efforts, including using marketing campaigns
  • Sourcing and onboarding external partnerships, negotiating and implementing sophisticated propositions and contracts for mutual benefit

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders. You’ll need a proven track record in an origination role, where direct accountability for establishing and maintaining active partnerships featured.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • A good understanding of different partner types in the payments industry, particularly with ISV, integrated partners. Ideally you will have worked at an ISV, or managed them at a payments company
  • The ability to work side by side with product or propositions and sales teams in order to grow both lead generation and partnerships, particularly within ISV partners
  • A good understanding of both SME and corporate payments markets, including financial, economic and market awareness
  • Be able to create success within partners, relationship manage payments partners and enable sellers to optimise performance
