You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing a strategic segment review to deliver optimal propositions for CBSF&FI segments
  • Identifying proposition gaps and making sure they align to our purpose commitments while leading stakeholder engagement to agree distribution and goal leads prioritisation
  • Using competitor analysis and customer insights and feedback to complete market gap analysis and to define the long-term vision and goals for the CBSF&FI segments
  • Coordinating customer contact initiatives while working with relevant business stakeholders to make sure proposition delivery outcomes are achieved
  • Acting as a primary interface for continuing professional development at each segment ManCo design and delivering appropriate propositions to make sure the segment strategy is achieved

The skills you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll have excellent communication skills, in particular presentation and report writing skills. You’ll also have experience of working in a commercial environment with relationships at senior management level.

As well as good leadership and people management skills, you’ll have great planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and coach colleagues. We’ll also expect you to have good department and budget planning skills.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

  • An understanding of how to perform under deadlines and pressure, building both internal and external relationships
  • Experience of leading colleagues in a changing environment while developing high-performing teams
  • The ability to identify and implement business solutions, including bespoke services to customers, specifically providing commercial price quotations
  • Knowledge of how to work as a self-starter, coupled with the ability to lead and collaborate with other teams
