As a Telco OpenShift Architect/Specialist, you design and develop a highly optimized and specialized Container platform that will be used to deliver a high performance, stable and secure 5G Vodafone network. You will utilize your proven coding and hands-on experience in containerization of Infrastructure for 5G applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will – together with other team members – maintain the OpenShift Container Platform, as well as directly help onboarding application teams utilize OpenShift to its absolute maximum. You are a technical SME, serving as support liaison among technical resources and project stakeholders.

You get energy from inspiring and teaching others to transition from legacy IT to OpenShift. You have a well-developed customer oriented mindset and apply this in everything you do. In addition, you have:

  • A relevant and completed Bsc/Msc education
  • Hands on experience with developing cloud-native applications using a microservices architecture
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift 4.x
  • Hands on experience in applying DevOps/DevSecOps/Systems Reliability Engineering and creating/using a CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience using relevant (pipeline) automation tooling like Ansible, Git and ArgoCD
  • Only Dutch residents can be taken into consideration for this position
