Looking for an internship where you can really make a change? As Graphic Designer intern at Aquablu, you will be the center of creation and responsible for all our artwork together with the creative and commercial team. You will create lookbooks, mailings, promotional material, social media posts and much more.

What do we offer you?

We offer an internship where you will be ensured that you never have a dull moment. You will work in a young and dynamic team in a scale-up environment. We also offer excellent employment conditions.

  • A good internship allowance (up to €550,- depending on your experience).
  • A brand new office close to the center of Amsterdam (see below video!).
  • All the visual design tools that your graphic design heart desires.
  • Room for personal growth and development and room for learning new graphic tools and tricks.
  • A free and healthy lunch together with the team.
  • Unlimited enhanced FUNCTIONAL water ;)

We provide everything you need to develop your graphic design skills. From the latest design tools to a communal BBQ lunch (vegan is also an option) and lots of independence for your own projects.

What you will be doing during your internship:

Your days will never be the same at Aquablu, and that is how you like it.

There are some frequent creations (banners, presentations, infographics, webpages, social media posts, etc). But we also want you to do the things you do best. So we will focus on what makes your creative brain tick.

About you

You keep up to date with the latest design trends, podcasts, tools, and technologies. But more importantly: you have a deep passion to learn it all. If you have a desire to create and inspire you are the one! You work closely with the design and commercial team with abundant room for own initiatives. Together you will take our brand to the next level.

We put trust in you, but in return we expect the following skillset for this Graphic Designer Internship Vacancy:

  • You are following a relevant education.
  • You have some knowledge of the Adobe creative suite (illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign).
  • You have a sense of branding and know how to keep a consistent tone of voice in your designs.
  • You are proactive and brimming with creative ideas for Aquablu's creatives.

Pro's:

  • You already have some work or a small portfolio. We would be happy to see it.
  • Experience with photography.
  • You know when to ask for feedback and you can implement it well.
  • Video editing skills.
  • Writing skills.

By introducing smart refill stations at businesses, we want to transform global drinking habits into a plastic-free lifestyle. With just a touch of a button, you can tap still, sparkling, and flavored water. There's one catch; you have to bring your bottle.
Thanks to our unique water treatment technology, even the most highly contaminated tap water sources can be used to create safe drinking water. Hereby we provide the first professional alternative to centrally bottled water and sodas.

Zeljko Grebenar

I started as an Industrial Design intern at Aquablu, looking to expand my skill set and learn from senior engineers. During the internship, I was given a lot of responsibility and started my own project. After my internship, I started as Junior Engineer and currently manage a small team of my own.
