Your role

We're seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee all the preventive and corrective maintenance activity we carry out across our charging network. You will be charged with the day to day management of a fast growing team of field engineers and jointly contribute to consistently delivering industry leading reliability across the 6 countries where we operate (Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom).

In this role you make sure our stations remain in the best possible condition and all maintenance activities are being executed in a timely and safe manner. To accomplish this, you oversee a team of field engineers that execute day to day repairs to our chargers and other equipment. You will be in close contact with our suppliers and contractors as well as a variety of internal teams. Next to that you continuously adapt and improve our processes and procedures.

Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure. Your overall responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the activities of a growing team of field engineers across 6 countries;
• Prepare and oversee the jobs schedule for our field engineers;
• Ensure all activities are logged and prioritised in our Asset Management System;
• Ensure spare part availability and spare part logistics to field engineers;
• Overseeing day to day operations in the field and continuously optimize processes;
• Continuously coach field engineers and share structure feedback to improve way of working;
• Support our field engineers;
• Own and continuously iterate to meet internal SLAs (e.g. time to repair);
• Implement and improve maintenance processes and manuals;
• Oversee Health & Safety practices across all field activities.

Job requirements

In order to be successful in this role you bring along strong organisational and problem solving skills. You thrive in taking ownership and consistently make sure things are completed within agreed timelines.

• You have proven experience in successfully overseeing and coaching dispersed teams. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable;
• You posses great organisational and planning skills;
• You consistently find ways to meet your KPIs;
• You have experience in building and improving internal processes and procedures;
• You are result-oriented and action-driven;
• You keep your team involved, engaged and love to dedicate time coaching;
• You have a good understanding of standard maintenance work processes and systems;
• You have a understanding of health and safety regulations and practices;
• You are keen to spend time with the team in the field to learn about the ins and outs of their work;
• You speak a fluent English
• Nice to have: Dutch language skills, data literacy or happy to learn;
• Nice to have: VCA and NEN3140 IV certification.
