As HR Advisor, you report to the Plant HR Manager Emmen & Nieuw Bergen and you work closely with the other HR Advisors at the other three plants. As an HR Advisor, you are the HR support partner for all employees working at the sites in Emmen & Nieuw Bergen.

Your daily duties will include, and You will be responsible on the following:

  • independent and relationship-oriented HR role, you act as a contact for all our employees and as a sparring partner for the managers;
  • executing various Global HR projects/policies (Your Employee Shares (YES), Prysmian Volunteering, Global Anti-Harassment Policy) at both Plants and following up the resulting actions;
  • further optimisation of the various HR processes, systems and procedures;
  • daily monitoring of absenteeism and supporting managers in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of (long-term) absenteeism;
  • managing the (digital) personnel files;
  • in cooperation with the Payroll department, following up the monthly salary changes;
  • responsible for the recruitment, selection and introduction of flex workers, working closely with our temping partners and managers;
  • supporting the further realisation of a healthy and vital organisation with long-term deployable employees.
  • entering transactions in SAP, creating purchase order numbers for HR related subjects and following up the invoicing if necessary.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate, who has:

  • completed higher vocational education in the field of HR, business or organisation studies;
  • 3-5 years' experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer, preferably in an industrial (production) environment at an internationally operating company;
  • up-to-date knowledge of Dutch labour law, specifically the Dutch law pertaining to reintegration from sick leave;
  • experience in drawing up various (monthly, quarterly and annual) HR reports;
  • reliable, entrepreneurial, independent and also a team player;
  • proven ability to deliver under time pressure, also during shifts in priorities;
  • good communication skills, both written and oral, in Dutch and English;
  • the willingness to travel to our Plant in Nieuw Bergen several times a month.
