Planning Manager

We are looking for the Team Leader Planning who will be responsible together with planning team for making sure that customers are being supported timely and completely. In close collaboration with colleagues of sales, operations and external suppliers the magic is to find solutions for the demanding market of high voltage projects worldwide.

The Team Leader Planning is responsible for efficiency and quality of the planning process.

You will be responsible on the following:

• Daily management of the planning department (4-5 FTE)
• Actively taking part of the planning process - committing the customer orders in line with the availability of components and coordinating the operational testing, assembly and final packaging process and communicating this to sales departments and customers;
• Coordinating the priorities to suppliers and internal production activities;
• Preparing the forecast together with the Team-Leader Production and the Plant Manager
• Advancing our use of software tools (SAP, visual order management tool MPS, order tracking and bar code scanning systems;
• Driving our operational performance: customer service level, stock value, stock accuracy, obsolete/write-downs.
• Leading by example on safety

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate, who has:

• Experience in leading a team in a planning / logistics department
• Experience in working with SAP logistics, planning or inventory modules
• Education/degree in Logistics or similar;
• 32-40 hours per week available;
• Affinity to work in an international company;
• Fluent in Dutch and English verbal and in writing;
• Proactive, ambitious, a good eye for detail and a sense of humor
