A day in the life of an Associate

The Project Manager - Commissioning, Validating & Start-up manager (CVS Manager), is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of the CVS responsibilities in several investment projects. He/she leads the operational supply aspects of projects and drives project results for the commissioning, validation and start-up phase of these capital projects by challenging and steering project teams on deliverables and enable vertical start-ups.

Together with the formal project leader manage several cross-functional project teams in the successful commissioning, validation and start-up of new assets, processes and procedures within Veghel.

• Good Planning and Coordination of project execution;
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests by Engineering;
• Organizing and Leading Hand Over meetings and drive actions resulting in vertical startup and learning curve;
• Reporting in steering team meetings;
• Project closure;
• Ensure that new initiatives deliver the promised / committed operating benefits as described in the project description;
• Actively identify, pick up (and delegate) new and outstanding issues in the projects;
• Be the Supply representative in the project teams and align resources and activities within Supply during all phases of the project;
• Focus on extensive (senior) stakeholder management to ensure smooth implementation and effective & efficient decision-making;
• Ensure relevant departments/teams are trained in operating the newly installed equipment;
• Ensure support capabilities are trained and available within the designated support teams

What are we looking for?

• Higher Vocational (HBO) / Bachelor / Master Degree (WO);
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling efficient communication and influencing on all organizational levels including senior management; open to change and input from diverse workforce;
• Skilled in Project management;
• Leadership skills: recognized leader at the team and area level;
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Dutch;
• Experience in an engineering / manufacturing / operational role is an advantage
