Internship - Motor Tester Software Development for Acoustics (NVH)

Inalfa Roof Systems designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open-roof systems for the automotive industry. We are a First Tier supplier for brands as BMW Group, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover, and many others. Inalfa Roof Systems Group is headquartered in Venray (Limburg, close Venlo and the German border with Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf in the area), The Netherlands, and we have a global footprint with facilities in Europe, Asia and the America’s.

Inalfa’s quality of panoramic roof systems are bound to the quality of incoming parts. In order to ensure the parts meet the prescribed requirements they often undergo quality checks before assembling them to the roof systems. One of the most important components is the electric motor, which drives both the glass panel and the sunblind system. In order to verify the operating noise quality of these motors, the One-Inalfa Motor Tester was designed. It can apply a recorded torque load profile of an actual roof system while measuring the motors noises and operating performance. In order to streamline this process, an improved operating software needs to be written which drives the control, the data acquisition and analysis of measured data.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Review and analyze the current One-Inalfa Motor Tester Software;
• Re-build and improve the current One-Inalfa Motor Tester Software according to aligned requirements and specifications;
• Implement software features for NVH;
• Implement specific Data analysis features for NVH;
• Implement data Management of Raw & Processed data & Results.

What do we expect from you:

• You are a graduation Bachelor student;
• Your graduation lasts for a minimum of 4 months;
• Languages: Mandatory - English, Not Mandatory - Dutch/ German;
• Soft skills;
• Project management (Mostly learned at school).
• Self-structuring and project organization skills.
• Quick-, self-learning with regards to software programs, theories and products.
• Good communication skills.
• Technical skills;
• LabView (mandatory).
• C++/ C#
• Experience with NI-Hardware (e.g. NI-6343).
• Experience with A/D signal processing.
• You are a creative, independent and proactive person.

What we offer you:

• We provide a good prepared assignment and personal support during your internship;
• You will receive a fee of €385,00 gross per month (40hrs);
• Additionally, we provide a travel compensation of up to €130,00 gross per month (based on commuting distance).
