The Process Optimization & Simplification Manager is responsible for

  • Identification of improvement opportunities and development of action plans and execution that will increase overall effectiveness and efficiency (simplification) of the organization.
  • Deploy and follow up commercial/medical processes across Therapeutical Area’s ensuring compliance and the implementation of business Rules/Processes & Practices.
  • Identify innovative solutions to implement to enhance commercials metric’s/KPI’s and meet revenue growth goals.
  • Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes with the goal to reduce variation in processes to meet customer specifications for the product or service.
  • Drive systematic analysis, change management and stakeholder management in the respective units to achieve process optimization & simplification

Major Accountabilities

  • Identification of improvement opportunities and development of action plans and execution that will increase overall effectiveness and efficiency (simplification) of the organization.
  • Make units optimization & simplification ready by explaining the why and how to all involved (creating optimization & simplification ambassadors in the organization)
  • Deploy and follow up commercial/medical processes across TA’s ensuring compliance and the implementation of business Rules/Processes & Practices.
  • Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes with the goal to reduce variation in processes to meet customer specifications for the product or service.
  • Drive systematic analysis, change management and stakeholder management in the respective units to achieve process optimization & simplification
  • Serve as a thought leader and advisor in optimization & simplification tools & platforms (Scrum, Lean Six Sigma etc)
  • Align risk assessment & management and ensure compliance

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • University degree in business or MBA
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equal)

Languages:

  • English
  • Dutch

Experience/Professional Requirement:

  • Proven track-record in optimization & simplification processes
  • Preferably expertise in Customer Engagement business processes and platforms
  • Proven ability and experience of risk management
  • Proven track-record in stakeholder management to be successful with full implementation of optimization & simplification processes and platforms.
  • Strong results orientation, and willingness to have extensive involvement in day-to-day operations
  • Business partnership, multi-stakeholder collaboration and influencing across matrix
