Vattenfall is a European energy company with approximately 20 000 employees. For more than 100 years we have electrified industries, supplied energy to people’s homes and modernized our way of living through innovation and cooperation. We now want to make fossil-free living possible within one generation. To be able to reach this ambitious goal we are looking for talented individuals who, in addition to their passion for their own role, also have strong team spirit and want to contribute to supporting a meaningful corporate mission.
We exist to power climate smarter living.
Empowered by our goal, we are determined to enable fossil free living within one generation. To succeed we must, as one of Europe's leading energy companies, be fossil free ourselves. But that’s not enough. That’s why we are looking beyond our own industry, to see where we can really make a difference. Join us on the path towards a fossil free life.
I’d always been interesting in a career in the energy sector as it is the backbone of society, demand will continue to grow and I also wanted to be involved in the development of an energy system which will enable current and future generations to live in a healthy, safe and sustainable environment.
I studied law at university and although I didn’t have any experience in IT, it was an area I had always been interested in. The training I was given before I started work at the IT Service Desk gave me a very good foundation.
