Your Mission

As an ecommerce content manager, you have a passion for marketing & maximalization of (online) brands. In your role as e-commerce content manager at L'Oréal (as part of the corporate Ecommerce & CDMO team), you ensure the highest possible quality of the product- & brand content at our e-retailers. You do this by being a project leader on all multi divisional content projects like optimization of content, building ratings & reviews and creating e-retailer search strategies. You have a passion for thinking outside of the box and working on multi-functional projects making L’Oréal the leading Beauty Tech Company of the future.

Your responsibilities

• Increasing conversion rate by ensuring best-in-class product & brand content is delivered by the e-merchandisers of our divisions to our e-retailers and partners.

• Doing deep dives & analyzes on data from our online scraping tools to identify better content opportunities for our divisions.

• Leading yearly content creation & optimization projects, including selecting and working together with partners & agencies

• Increase share of search by creating online e-retailer search (SEO) strategies.

• Monitoring and accelerating the generation of ratings & reviews for our (key) SKU’s by being the project lead of rating & review projects, including selecting and working together with partners & agencies

• Owning & management of the Salsify/OPERA tool, be the contact person for this content tool internally and towards international teams and improve automatic syndication with our e-retailers.

• Working very closely with the divisions, specifically with the online brand managers and the e-merchandisers. Being the leader of the multi divisional e-merchandiser & online brand manager tribe. Lead monthly sessions with the tribe, organize upskilling sessions and share best practices across the tribe.

Your profile

You are a strong project leader. As a person you are determined to make a great impact by taking initiatives and sharing your ideas. You like to collaborate with different stakeholders and that you know how to convince them if necessary. Furthermore, you are open minded and supportive towards new initiatives.

Our ideal candidate:

- Has completed a master’s degree

- Has minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (ideally online brand manager or e-merchandiser role)

- Has experience within e-commerce fundamentals, SEO/search algorithms, retailer e-com platform possibilities

- Is a self-starter, works well in (multi-brand/cross functional) teams and is willing to learn and move fast

- Is based in the Netherlands. Ideally with a knowledge of French and/or Dutch, English is required

- Is analytical and can make insights meaningful to the business
