Legal Entity Head NL and Statutory Director

Into Action
As our Legal Entity Head NL and Statutory Director you will lead the Dutch legal entities (Seeds BV and Crop Protection BV) in all legal entity related aspects. You will chair the Benelux Management Team and the Dutch Site Management Team (including satellites). You will support the various businesses with compliance issues, with a strong collaboration with internal functions like HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, etc. Furthermore, you initiate best practices in the best interest of the sites and you create an exciting and healthy workplace environment to drive innovation and collaboration across functions. Representing the Dutch legal entities vis-à-vis governmental and business institutions will be part of you job along with leading the departments Engineering, HSE and Prevention Officer with dotted lines to TD and Facilities. Finally, you will provide strategic advice to the Board and Corporate Head Office.
The Challenge
As our Legal Entity Head NL you are accountable for a professional relationship with the Works Council/Labour Unions by providing support and partner with the Works Council on various topics. You are directly accountable for the Engineering and HSE teams as well as the Prevention Officer and you provide strategic advice to the Board and Executive Business Leaders at corporate level in a way that they will have an accurate view of the Dutch company and its future. As our Statutory Director you are financially accountable for the site budget regarding infrastructure and site investments. You closely collaborate with facility management and external partners and you drive a strong site culture in all aspects of the business.
Qualifications
Your Profile
To succeed in this position, you have a demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans and stakeholder management. You should be able to manage and advance business strategic objectives and a thorough knowledge of the seed market changes and forces that influence the company. And off course you are familiar with corporate law and management best practices.
