In 2020, HEINEKEN launched EVERGREEN, our new Strategy and Way of Working. The purpose of Supply Chain Strategy Performance & Transformation team is to enable HEINEKEN to drive performance and make data driven “Grain–to–Glass” decisions, through accurate, fast and actionable insights.

To turn the Supply Chain ambition into reality, a supporting instrument was created to monitor the performance through proven end to end drivers. We are looking for an intern to support on the delivery of projects that will enable driving and monitoring of performance.

You will be contributing, by ensuring the correct and up-to-date registration and follow-up of initiatives and programme deployments, developing supporting transformation material and supporting in continuous improvement in our ways of working. You will also be part of the work group that designs, builds and delivers Logistics Benchmark Models for key value drivers.

As an intern, you will be fully onboarded in the team, learn about transformation and the organization of supply chain in an international environment whilst contributing to our delivery of EverGreen. On daily level you will work in our international cross functional transformation team consisting of Supply Chain, Change and Communication and Finance.

The internship is based in our Schiphol office and available as of mid February for the duration of 6 months.

Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.

Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • EverGreen initiatives and deployment support
  • Create insights for global and regional teams on progress achieved, by combining various sources of information
  • Support Global Initiatives Owners in the development of guidance material and videos on logging and tracking initiatives
  • Support in creating insight in the Supply Chain deployment portfolio
  • Support in building Logistics Benchmark Model
  • Support with data collection, validation, build formulas and test model
  • Support the team with ad-hoc requests, improvement initiatives, and organization of training and briefing sessions on the topics in scope of the Transformation Team

Your profile

You are a student in a relevant field of study (eg Business, Supply Chain Management) and you have the following:

  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
  • Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
  • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
  • Advanced user in Microsoft solutions: Excel (e.g build formulas, map tables, graphs), PowerPoint (e.g. able to create presentations with animations, videos and icons), Sharepoint (create new pages)
  • You are experienced with translating data into relevant information
  • You can work individually and remotely, but are also confident in in-person engaging with stakeholders of different levels of seniority, in order to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Ideally you have knowledge on tools like RACIs, swim lane diagrams and process flow diagrams
  • You have a Dutch BSN number and are registered at a university for the full duration of your internship.
