We are searching for an open-minded colleague whom is eager to learn and make this possible in the role of Seed Technologist.

As a Seed Technologist you are being responsible for all technical aspects of the seed treatment processes in Made and will initiate, lead and/or execute business objective-oriented research projects or multidisciplinary programs aimed at innovation of products and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support, optimize and innovate in vegetable seeds treatment processes within Hazera. These processes include securing seed health, seed cleaning, priming & application of plant protection products.
  • Keep accurate files on the processes and register the data
  • Generating new ideas and evaluate technical and financial feasibility via Insourcing or outsourcing
  • Testing and evaluating new processes, before implementing it in our processing system
  • Support Seed Treatment processes in Israel (Sderot) in collaboration with local Seed technology team.
  • Be an active member of the Limagrain Group Seed Technology Expert Group and external initiatives

Job requirements

  • A background in the Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience within Seed Treatment and/ or Seed Cleaning processes is a plus
  • You have an eager to learn, are open-minded and dare to think out of the box
  • Good communication skills, in English and preferably also in Dutch
  • Experience with time management and you can prioritize
  • In possession of a driver's license
