Meewerkstage Structured Lending Mid-Corporates

The opportunity

Are you eager to learn more about complex financing structures for MidCorporate clients? Do you have the analytical and social skills to contribute to a successful process - from kick off to closing? As intern you will work on complex transactions that will support our clients in realizing their ambition via a.o. acquisitions and large capex programs.

Your position

As intern Structured Lending you will be working in a team of 15 SL specialists. With an honest and open approach you strengthen the SL team in order to service our clients and help them with their financing requirements. ING’s Hybrid Mode of working (both from your home and from the office) will apply. The position is based in Amsterdam (Acanthus office).

Role and responsibilities

• You will be analyzing business models, sector trends, financial figures in order to model forecasts and scenarios
• You will assist with important elements of the process such as preparing an indicative offer
• You can expect a lot of variety in your role as transactions are relatively short and Structured Lending covers all sectors
• There will be a dedicated buddy to support and challenge you to get the best experience during your internship

How to succeed

You make the difference with your positive attitude, client centricity, analytical skills and affinity with financial challenges. You are eager to learn and stay cool under pressure. Additionally, the following criteria apply;

• Student in the final phase of (academic) Bachelor or Master with above-average study results, preferably in Finance, Business Economics, Business Administration, Economics or Econometrics, or a polytechnic
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken);
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis/ financial statements (profit & loss statement, cash flow statement, balance sheet) and financial markets;
• Good PowerPoint and Excel skills;
• Available for 5-6 months

Important to know: To be able to do an internship at ING, you must be enrolled at a Dutch educational institution throughout your internship.
