The opportunityYou will help us create and improve a user-friendly omni-channel payment solution within IKEA to process many-thousands of payments per second for more than 30 markets worldwide. Each with its own unique payment needs. The work that we are doing is for a mainly customer facing so it is not only important that we strive for a frictionless payment experience but also that resiliency and scalability are important cornerstones of the deliveries.   • Comfortable building advanced web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, our current tech stack is primarily React, Typescript , Redux, Jest, NPM, Node, Cypress, HTML, CSS.
  • Able to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient services based on DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms – preferably GCP (Google Cloud Platform), but other platforms are great too!
  • An understanding of modern observability practices such as distributed tracing, structured logging and metrics.
  • Have great written and verbal communication skills.
