The Retail Partnerships Analysis Manager is responsible for discovering business opportunities and delivering incremental value for both EPS, and our partners, through improved utilisation, and growth, of the Expedia Group platform. As an independent self-starter, this person will have the autonomy to produce insights, new project ideas and optimisation opportunities which will power Expedia’s future commercial & product strategy. Working closely with senior leaders, you will be responsible for showcasing and presenting your insights to the wider business, partnering with colleagues across Expedia Group to bring these opportunities to life.

As a member of the Expedia Partner Solutions Analytics team, the Retail Partnerships Analysis Manager will work cross-functionally and bring together insights from both the travel supply and demand environment. This entails partnering with a broad spectrum of teams at Expedia Group, such as Sales, Commercial Finance, Strategy and Product. The role will have the freedom to drive new ways of working and tackle sophisticated problems innovatively within a diverse, international organisation.

This position is based in either London or Seattle.

What you’ll do:

  • Grow both Expedia Group and partner revenue by optimising existing, and implementing new, business strategies
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on the Expedia Group platform to understand key trends
  • Provide direction on business priorities based on expected opportunity size
  • Measure key results, including revenue and profitability (e.g., ROAS) metrics
  • Build and manage relationships with colleagues across Expedia Group
  • Evaluate revenue risk for new opportunities and initiatives, developing strategies to mitigate these

Who you are:

You are an analytical, commercially minded individual, energised by finding innovative solutions and driving growth initiatives. You thrive in an international work environment, with exposure to internal and external colleagues across various levels. Plus:

  • Proven experience in identifying growth opportunities and driving the implementation of solutions to realise them
  • Strong communication skills, presenting quantitative analysis in a targeted, easily digestible format
  • Possess an understanding of revenue drivers and broader commercial environment
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate across multiple partners to deliver end-to-end projects
  • Ability to handle and analyse large volumes of data, with 3-5 years’ experience working in data-intensive commercial environment
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and data analysis tools
  • SQL experience preferable. Ideally possess the ability to write SQL from scratch, with a good understanding of databases. If minimal SQL experience, a willingness to learn and gain experience quickly
