Sales Support Team Lead – Benelux & Uk

About the Role:

The Sales Support Team Lead based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is responsible for the performance, coaching, workload analysis & distribution and day-to-day task assignments of the sales support team for our Benelux & UK team.

In second place, the Sales Support Team Lead is also responsible to work on the operational aspects of some key accounts. They execute administrative processing of orders from order entry to invoicing, receipt, investigation and subsequent resolution of customer. As part of your responsibilities, you will also be responsible for the compilation and analysis of customer accounts, shipments, backorders etc. plus constant monitoring and communication to our customers.

Lastly, the Sales Support Team Lead is responsible for leading several projects to improve both customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency within the team. 2023 holds exciting opportunities for a Team Lead who is change orientated and passionate about improvement including; centralization of customers, BOT implementation and Salesforce integration.

Your Team:

This position has multiple direct reports consisting of the Sales Support Coordinators for the Benelux & UK region.

What You Will Do:

The Sales Support Team Lead is responsible for the End-to-End order to cash process of the Region of responsibility and corresponding sales support team.

  • Constant monitoring of and communication to customers regarding their orders status, shipment planning, documentation and scheduling.
  • Timely and correct shipment and administration of customer requests.
  • First escalation point for ensuring correct and timely order entry and invoicing for own customers and region of responsibility.
  • Improve efficiency & alignment of the team with internal KPIs and ways of working.
  • Secure a high level of customer satisfaction in the area of influence.
  • Coaching and development of the team members, ensuring continuous team development, engagement and timely resolution of market issues.
  • Responsible for identifying and escalating breaches of our codes of conduct (SOX).

What You Need:

  • A Bachelor degree in business administration, Economics or Commerce.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial administrative role.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in managing a team.
  • Fluent in (business) English.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer Service minded mentality.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Experience with MS office suite, especially excel.

What is Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP ERP and Sales Force and/or a similar system is highly preferred.
  • Dutch language skills are an advantage.
