“A key moment from my time at Liberty Global is that I was given a very big project on one of my first days, not only was it the project itself but it was the trust I was given from day one. My first project was to investigate new technology vendors within the automation and robotics area and whittle initial research of 40 vendors down to three key vendors which are now used within the automation space in the Shared Service Centre.”
Jack Robertson, Finance Graduate
Liberty Global is a world leader in converged broadband, video, and mobile communications services. O Our businesses operate under some of the best-known consumer brands, including Virgin Media-O2 in the UK, VodafoneZiggo in The Netherlands, Telenet in Belgium, Sunrise UPC in Switzerland, Virgin Media in Ireland and UPC in Eastern Europe.
In my experience, the Technology programme has opened doors to both personal and career development. The skills that I have learned are not only transferrable within the company, but they are also useful in ‘real-life’.
The Liberty Tech Graduate Scheme gave me the unique opportunity to explore multiple business areas in a short period of time. This allowed me to develop a wide range of transferrable skills which inevitably led me to my landing role, which I’m extremely happy with.
