Within the Allianz Group, Dutch mortgage loans are considered an attractive asset class. Dutch mortgage loans are originated, managed and distributed by Allianz Vermogen to both the Allianz Group and to external investors. In the dynamic environment of large international institutional investors and the Dutch mortgage market Allianz Vermogen is responsible for managing more than 8bln of Dutch mortgages, a portfolio of Belgium mortgages and a portfolio of Real Estate. We are looking for someone who would like to join the team and take up key responsibility for managing the Benelux mortgage strategy, the investment portfolio of Mortgages and Benelux Real Estate. What will you do?

As a portfolio manager in the field of Mortgages and Real Estate your responsibilities include managing the Dutch mortgages mandates given by Allianz entities worldwide and the investments of Allianz Benelux in Mortgages and Real Estate. You will be responsible to lead and coordinate alignment between all the stakeholders and keep investor relations while also managing the quantitative and operational aspects of the Allianz Dutch mortgages. You will be involved in strategic projects and strategy development and ensure Allianz Vermogen will be even further professionalized.

Your responsibilities are further:

• Lead and coordinate alignment between stakeholders such as risk, compliance, legal, sales, operations etc.
• Lead and initiate innovative ideas and development in the market and incorporate them within our business
• Improve existing quantitative models, including prepayment, liquidity and credit risk models used for valuation and pricing
• Stay abreast and analyze impacts of new developments in the mortgage industry, the financial markets and regulations that might affect current and future mortgage financing
• Reporting on international level to investors and management about market developments and risk & return of the investment strategy
• Perform investor relation activities to keep current investors informed and attract funding from new and current investors.
• Further harmonize and streamline the processes within the mortgage department
• Doing analysis on innovative ideas and how to incorporate them within the mortgage business
• Monitor and asses the Real Estate portfolio of Allianz Benelux N.V.

Who are you?

• You have a completed a Master within Econometrics, Economics, Mathematics or Physics
• You have at least 3 years’ experience within the Dutch mortgage market or Investment Management
• You are ambitious and have a can-do mentality
• Strong analytical and quantitative (programming) skills
• You are a team player with a strong focus on results
• You are a good communicator and have good communication skills towards experts, investors and management
• Fluent in Dutch and English
