As a Account Receivable Intern, you will play a very important role in the day-to-day business operation of The Social Hub. You will be part of the regional finance team, that is responsible for accounting and control of all TSH locations within Southern Europe. Your focus is to make sure all relevant revenues are correctly and completely recorded and exactly matched with the payments within our hotels and restaurants. You will join our team for 6 months starting in February 2023.

What You'll Do

  • Reconcile revenues and payments registered in the Property Management System (PMS) with the receivables on the bank accounts;
  • Verify account discrepancies by obtaining information from sales, reservations, hotel & restaurant operations and guests;
  • Initiate improvement projects based on your findings;
  • Prepare reports on an ad-hoc basis;
  • Group invoicing for the hotels and restaurants;
  • Chase for invoice payments;
  • Handle guest emails and telephone calls;
  • Prepare management reports;
  • Provide accounting support during the month end process;
  • Achieve set deadlines.

Who You Are

  • You're currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • You have an affinity with the hospitality industry
  • You have a proactive personality
  • You have strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
  • You have a high proficiency in English. Other languages are a plus, especially Spanish.
