Hello, we are Quin's product tech team of over 100 engineers. A community with a clear purpose: to develop clean and scalable code that propels healthcare into the 22nd century.
Not for ‘the lucky few,’ but for everyone, everywhere within The Netherlands. If that’s a purpose you can get behind, now is the time to team up because we are building next-gen, AI-driven doctor and patient-facing apps that effortlessly guides patients to the right medical assistance. We’re also reverse-engineering our Android and iOS apps as a web service.
Together with medical professionals (At Quin, there’s always a doctor in the room!), commercial professionals, data scientists and your co-developers, you work in an environment where the (patient) stakes are high and the roadmap is ambitious! If you feel at home in a setting where autonomy is a given and collaboratating with your peers appeals to you, you are welcome to join our development lab!
Together with your team, you take responsibility for all frontend development achievements. Given our transition from a scale-up to a product-led organisation, this calls for your React, Typescript as well as Redux skills to maximise your impact.
Do you like high coding standards, work on production systems, document and cover with tests? In scope. New product development? All yours, too. As is passionately promoting your vision to a diverse range of stakeholders, from product managers, BI analysts, Backenders, QA engineers or UI/UX-ers to colleagues in the AI data team.
Quin's future growth would not be possible without your skill and dedication, and this pays off with a sense of 'moral satisfaction'. This is because we are a purpose-driven organisation, and every line of your code ultimately makes health care more straightforward, personal, and future-proof.
Our Patient Journey is continuously improving and we have divided our patient journey platform into 5 domains. Your projects will focus on one or more of these domains;
A purpose worth investing in! Of note: at Quin, pioneering is the name of the game. Nothing is set in stone yet, so conceptual prowess and a forward-thinking mindset are welcome. As Frontend developer, you report to our Chapter Lead Vlad and work in tandem, where you can always tap into the insights of your peers: around 20 people who’ve been around the frontend chapter and will gladly help you out.
If you are a frontend developer with good experience working with:
You feel comfortable learning, sharing, and gaining a different set of skills. And you are not overwhelmed when colleagues challenge the status quo and make suggestions. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
...then this job is right for you!
We hope the opportunity to future-proof healthcare with us gets your adrenaline pumping. That’s what makes your colleagues tick. Speaking of which, you’ll work with talented, international teammates who are always happy to bounce ideas off each other, so learning from peers is a given. We accelerate the learning curve through our (buzz incoming) career development program, which helps you plot the optimal Quin course and empowers you to reach personal goals quicker. As for the nitty-gritty: we ‘inject’ your checking account with a gross salary between €60-€85k per year depending on seniority.
We support flexibility and work life balance, and offer a hybrid work environment. 60/40 is what we aim for. But given our prime location (the former Netflix building), you may find yourself gravitating towards HQ more often. If only to challenge a colleague in our gaming room, grab a meal in our cafeteria, participate in bootcamps, join our regular learning sessions and lunch lectures. Last but not least, relocation assistance from start to finish.
We are developing the world’s first AI-based healthcare support app. Our digital platform helps identify health issues quickly and empowers users to get the right medical care at the right time. Our platform is built from the ground up - with emphasis on simplicity and a great user experience - in close cooperation with international software and medical experts.
