Job purpose

As a (Sr) Tax Compliance Analyst you are part of a dynamic and growing team. Within the team you are responsible for preparing (complex) CIT and Withholding Tax returns and other corporate tax related activities for various (inter)national (listed) clients.

For example, you will be preparing CIT returns for standalone companies or multiple companies in a Fiscal Unity (incl. consolidation) thus analyzing financial flows and interest deduction restrictions, analyzing the dividend tax status and preparing the correct DHWT form, review of CIT returns prepared by third parties as a second pair of eyes for our clients, preparing/reviewing other CIT related documentation (e.g. ATAD2), and you will be involved in other international tax related services which we offer our clients.

You will also follow closely (inter)national tax developments and implement new legislation in your daily work and discuss this internally with your colleagues to ensure a flawless integration from theory to practice as operation excellence is the cornerstone of TMF’s Tax team.

You will be working closely with the VAT and Transfer Pricing team and you can help to help grow the Tax Compliance service line in The Netherlands by thinning of ways to improve or expand tax service. Within the team, there is the possibility to grow. You report into the Manager Tax.

Your profile

  • At least a University tax degree or Higher Professional tax Education (HBO fiscaal)
  • 3-6 years’ experience in CIT, preferably in an international environment.
  • Practical and specialized knowledge of international CIT.
  • Excellent Dutch and English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Other characteristics: self-starter, enthusiastic and willing to learn, accurate, excellent execution, ‘get things done’ mentality, flexible and willing to go the extra mile.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing and filing (complex) CIT returns for Dutch as well as international clients with a presence in the Netherlands
  • Able to consolidate Financial Annual Accounts for Fiscal Unity CIT returns
  • Making tax calculations which may impact the CIT return
  • Compilation and submission of DHWT returns.
  • Close cooperation with the Accounting Officers of the Accounting teams and other member of the tax team.
