In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

In this internship you will learn how marketing analytics is applied to take decision and influence stakeholders. You will discover the world of marketing and product development while being the team key player for data driven projects. You will learn a variety of marketing tools and processes, participate in workshops and training sessions, which will help you deepen your marketing knowledge and understand how a multinational company stays competitive in a challenging global environment.

You are responsible for

  • Learning and leading monthly business performance trackers and analysis
  • Competitor Analysis to support key innovation projects for Male Grooming products
  • Working with the Male grooming team to get to portfolio insights based on internal and external data and with various teams to analyze consumer and competitor data
  • Developing dashboards where you can bring your view and vision

You are a part of

A dedicated Marketing Team in the category of Male Grooming within Philips Health Tech, which consists of electronic male grooming appliances. Philips is a global leader in this category. The upstream marketing team (Consumer Marketing Managers) is responsible for full proposition development, starting with consumer insight generation, all the way to product development, market launch and life cycle management.

You will be working at our head office in Amsterdam.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Currently studying towards your University in Applied Sciences or University in Sciences Bachelor or Master in the following studies: Business Administration, Business Economics, Business Management, Business Analytics or Marketing;
  • Strong analytical skills, an analyst with a structured mindset, who is comfortable with numbers and has an eye for accurate details;
  • Excel/MS Office skills;
  • Proactive and solution oriented, and able to work in a complex international matrix organization. Hands-on mentality, good in managing projects;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and convey the messages in a convincing manner with people of different seniority and backgrounds.

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
