Description

As a Business Analyst you'll work within Charlotte Tilbury to help manage, change and plan for the future in line with our goals. You'll need to understand the current capabilities, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs which will span both operational processes and software solutions.

You'll need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of how the organisation works, benchmarking against retail standards to identify further development opportunities to enhance the company’s functions, services and products.

You'll also play a key role in aiding communication between internal departments and the company and external parties.

Requirements

As a Business Analyst at Charlotte Tilbury, you'll need to:

  • communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
  • work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided
  • use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
  • consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make
  • identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations
  • gain agreement from senior management of the best method of introducing your recommendations to the business
  • communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
  • produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
  • work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and to be the “bridge” between the development team and the business
  • assist with training documentation and sessions where applicable
  • work with outsourced suppliers in the delivery of technology products
  • report project progress to key stakeholders and identifying delivery and quality risks.

Key Skills

  • a strong overall understanding of operational processes and how they inter-link
  • experience in working with systems commonly used in retail operations, e.g. ERP, Demand Planning, PLM, PIM, OMS, POS, WMS, Websites
