The role

The Senior Compensation and Benefits Advisor is based in Rotterdam and reports directly to the Compensation & Benefits Manager EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Expat management
  • Stakeholder management with (international) third parties (tax advisors, immigration service)
  • Fleet management: Service delivery management, monitoring processes, guidance on exceptions, improvement activities
  • Provides analytical and other professional level support (benchmarking, comp review cycle, job architecture)
  • Support organization with the review of job descriptions/ job evaluations, determine job levels and align with benchmark (HR and other leaders)
  • Support with annual compensation planning, budget planning, rate structures and assist in proving benchmark analysis.
  • Participate in annual salary survey process. Gather appropriate compensation data elements as required by each survey. Work with survey vendors to ensure appropriate data submission.
  • Update, further develop and implement C&B policies for EMEA.
  • Responsible for execution of the international assignment policy in EMEA.
  • Drafts compensation and benefit plan administrative procedures and communications materials.
  • Assists with implementation and optimization of regional and corporate projects.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, (Tax) Law or a business-related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in international corporate environments, e.g. audit/consultancy
  • Experience with international employees and work environment
  • Ability to prioritize work, handling multiple tasks, set goals and consistently delivers timely and accurate results
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and interests
  • Strong Excel/database, SAP experience is considered a plus
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal communications) is required
