Job Description

You have a general interest in the major (€500M+) companies and how they navigate marco-economic trends in the digital age? When reading the newspaper, you instantly think about what needs to be done to get shareholder value back on track? You digest information easily, and are you able to go form analysis to (visualized) insights? Triangulation of various sources and perspectives is your second nature? You are critical, persuasive and know how to convince senior stakeholders? You are in your Masters? You are super eager to learn, and learn quick? We have a match!

Your job

We are looking for an intern that supports the Accenture Strategy Leadership team with identifying new opportunities and assessing the impact of macro-economic forces and new trends for (one of) our industries/clients. In a time where the CEO imperatives are rapidly evolving, organizations are trying to find new, sustainable growth opportunities while navigating high inflation, increasing interest rates, continued supply chain disruption and a war for talent. Together with the Leadership Team you will seek insights into these new, sustainable growth areas and determine a go-to market strategy considering the potential role of new disruptive trends like, for example, digital twins, instant grocery delivery or the metaverse.

Your tasks typically exist of:

  • Work on real client problems ranging over a wide scope of industries (e.g. Consumer Goods, Utilities, Banking, High-tech, etc.) and topics (e.g. Sustainability, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Gather, analyse, and visualise data using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and Alteryx
  • Present results to your project team and/or our leadership team
  • Prepare and participate in workshops (internally and externally)
  • Conduct market and desk research
  • Prepare presentations

During your internship you will get the chance to gain insight into working as a strategy consultant within Accenture, learn about the projects we do and the impact we’re making for our clients, hear about the personal experiences from our colleagues and get a taste of our company culture.

Your team

The everchanging pace of market developments will only continue to accelerate in the future – and many organizations struggle to challenge new disrupting competition within the market. How do different innovations influence the market, what are the results and how can companies adapt themselves to remain relevant in the future?

Accenture Strategy & Consulting is the driving force in helping companies answer such questions. You will advise senior management in their next steps – based on data analysis, experience, expertise and an innovative approach. Together with a diverse team of experts, you will challenge current industry obstacles and find the key solution for clients in their current markets: Surpassing the disruption and consolidating future success for organizations.
