About the Role

We are providing a brand guardianship service called ‘Copy Validation’ for a global technology brand and are currently experiencing a period of significant growth. As a result, we are looking for a Project Manager to support the copy validation service Globally on YouTube projects – ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality service across deliverables.

Our Copy Validation offer utilises in-market linguists to review, improve and validate content on behalf of local market brand managers and leads. This alleviates the time pressure placed on local stakeholders in doing this themselves, allowing them to be more productive with their time.

The candidate will have a strong background in Project Management and an understanding of transcreation is essential, to have the ability to hit the ground running. This is a large, complex account, with several sub-brands so organisation and attention to detail will be key to their success.

They will work alongside the existing Copy Validation team comprising a mix of Client Management and Transcreation Content Management – as well as with the wider team on the account.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a solid strategic and executional understanding of our service, as well as the client’s business
  • Develop/update, drive and implement appropriate plans for the account, working in collaboration with other team members to help us achieve our operational objectives and reach our financial targets
  • Acting as the go-to operational person on the account, both internally and externally
  • Managing the workload scoping, briefing process, internal quality control, and at times external client comms to ensure that the team continues to deliver world-class service
  • Interrogate and challenge process and timings as appropriate
  • Mentoring, motivating, and supporting team members, displaying leadership and providing effective counsel to the team

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working in advertising or fast-moving brand/marketing environments with localisation/language work exposure
  • Proven experience in scoping short and long-term workload, managing timelines and running projects independently
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable having client exposure
  • Adept at building relationships at all levels and inspiring confidence in successful delivery of projects
  • High level of organisation with brilliant prioritisation and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A fierce sense of responsibility and ownership, and a commitment to delivering best practice and value
  • Compelling written and verbal skills to ensure clear understanding of the services we offer and to convey complex information effectively without confusion
  • Cool and calm when working under pressure along with the ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Good team player; collaborative but also a good self-starter, able to work independently
