Purpose of Role

The property industry can no longer rely on exceptional properties and places to grow rental income. Tenants expect more from landlords with regards services, support and sustainability.

We are looking to use digital technology to provide a seamless customer journey; delivering services, managing customer relationships, gathering customer insights and facilitating an exceptional customer experience.

In the next 5 years we want to lead the industry in utilising digital technologies to drive; better interactions with our customers; better interactions between our customers and our properties; better interactions between our customers and the surrounding estate and its businesses; and leading sustainable buildings.

The role of Digital Product Manager - GPUK is to lead, design, shape and build a digital product focused on delivering a seamless end to end digital customer journey for customers across our London estate. The goal is to redefine our customer experience and transform the way we understand and interact with our customer base. The product will need to cater for variable customer types, across multiple sectors (Retail, Office, Residential, Community, and shoppers).

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation and management of the digital customer journey product and roadmap.
  • Support the identification and implementation of digital applications, hardware and services that are required to deliver and enhance the digital customer journey.
  • Own the strategic management of any digital service providers that are part of the digital customer journey.
  • Work across the London estate and Operations team to identify and implement all opportunities to create efficiencies and better data accuracy through a better digital customer journey.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to capture data to provide insights into customer behaviour and expectations and use the information to develop services and the digital product.
  • To work across GPUK to understand the emerging digital demands across the market and update and refine the product ensure we continually stay ahead of the market.
  • To work with our group technology and innovation teams to identify opportunities to enhance our digital customer experience through emerging technologies.

Key Relationships

Executive Director - Operations, London estate location directors, group technology, group innovation, associate directors property management, Director Property Management, directors of development, Director of Commercial Lettings, Director of Retail Lettings, Director of Business Planning.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a background in technology and software who understands how to get the most out of the integration of digital technologies and software to enhance customer experience.

An ideal candidate will have the following experience;

  • Extensive relevant experience gained within a project management or leadership role.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in digital product design and implementation.
  • A good level of knowledge in Customer experience planning.
  • Experience in implementation of multi stakeholder, cross discipline, improvement initiatives.
  • A proven interest in customer service and a genuine passion for new technologies.
  • Experience of marketing/communications preferred, although not essential.
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical skills.
