At Grosvenor, we seek to recruit and develop people who share our values – Integrity, Respect and Trust – and have the skills and ambition to help us implement our strategy.

Purpose of Role

As part of our HR strategy, we see the purpose of our team is to make business success inevitable through our people. With that in mind we work together as a group to make that happen through all people related activity ranging from strategy, resourcing, remuneration, people development/engagement, as well as driving performance and organisational culture change.

All roles in our team are critical to help us deliver our goals and this position is no exception. It’s a busy job, reporting to the HR Operations Director, with responsibilities ranging from leading a small team delivering HR operational excellence and amazing customer service, to providing effective and efficient HR administrative support to several business client groups. We are looking for someone to be committed to continuous improvements and we welcome (and encourage!) your critical eye on our current processes. You will need to be prepared to get your hands dirty and operate in a fast paced and high-performance environment. As a small business there are times when we all have to pitch in where necessary to get the job done, but you will find our friendly team to be collaborative, committed to delivering, and always happy to help each other out.

  • Managing the starters and leavers process, including arranging induction sessions, running HR induction sessions and conducting exit interviews (where appropriate).
  • With the support of the HR Apprentice, work on a variety of activities from answering employee questions on anything from booking holiday to accessing their benefits to managing data reports, preparing all paperwork for contractual changes, dealing with ending/extending fixed term contracts and preparing offer letters and contracts for new starters.
  • Responsible for managing and processing confidential employee data across all of our HR systems (including Workday).
  • To provide support to HR Assistant for ensuring monthly payroll information is imputed accurately, in a timely manner, and checked, approved and executed precisely.
