Additionally, you will create initiatives to reduce absenteeism. You will be responsible for health process from a holistic perspective as well as handling individual long term illness and absence cases.

Besides those daily tasks, you will also take on the following responsibilities:

  • Create optimal cooperation between the Health & Safety organization (Arbodienst), the (store) manager and the employee. Plus, work closely with the ‘providerboog’ to reduce illness
  • Evaluate the cooperation with Health & Safety organization and
  • Monitor, analyze and report on illness-cases per region. Develop and implement a plan of action based on the outcome
  • Take responsibility for (continuous) development of our illness strategy
  • Align with external parties that are responsible of executing illness procedures and reintegration (e.g. Health Insurance company and the ‘providerboog’)
  • Introduce and optimize Brand Standards when collaborating with external parties, to achieve maximum result in our employment guidance
  • Give guidance during legal cases

Our ideal candidate:

  • Higher vocational education (HBO) in a relevant study
  • At least 3 years working experience in a comparable position
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Dutch, WIA/WGA, legislation and Employee Insurance Agency Netherlands (UWV)
  • Ability to deal with deadlines, targets and multiple priorities
  • Strong sense of commitment and accountability
  • Great communication skills and professional sensitivity
  • Excellent level of Dutch and good English language skills
