Lead our clients through all aspects of their data, analysing and providing new insight into their biggest problems, in addition to designing and implementing sustainable solutions. Learn by doing, get the support and training needed to solve complex technical challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We develop data-driven change programmes for our clients. You’ll work hybrid, remote (depending on the project) or field-based, on site with clients. You'll have a key role to play in bridging the gap between Operations and IT to deliver sustainable results. You'll draw meaningful insights from the data to identify their biggest opportunities for improvement. You'll get to grips with every detail of their organisation and how they use technology before designing and delivering the right toolsets to support the programme in achieving its objectives. Additionally, you will have a key part to play in nurturing and embedding a culture of data-led decision-making within the client's organisation.

LIFE ON SITE

Where you’ll work

We work on projects across the nation - from the tip of the Cornish coast to the Scottish Highlands. This means you're free to live anywhere in the UK.

Travel

Being onsite with the client is a big part of being a consultant so during the week, you’ll be put up in a hotel, near the client-site, paid for by Newton. However, we know there’s nowhere like home, that’s why you’ll be home by 6pm every Friday, no matter where you live in the UK.

Work / life balance

We believe it’s important to switch off and unwind in the evenings, whether that be at the gym, having dinner with colleagues, or simply having time to yourself! We also have a strict no-work-on-weekends policy which means you know when it comes to the end of the working week, your time is your own.

Review days

Since we began, we’ve hosted Review Days regularly. It’s a unique aspect of our culture and a chance for the entire company to collaborate and help solve project challenges together. We also have Review Nights the previous evening, which allows colleagues to unwind, network and socialise in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

  • Starting salary package - £45,000 - £50,000
  • Joining bonus - Between £2,000- £5,500 as soon as you start your contract

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

The training and development we offer our people is second-to-none and is widely considered an invaluable asset among consultants.

Our graduates go through a similar developmental journey up to their first promotion. After which, plans are tailored to each individual’s strengths and aspirations. Every single Newton employee is assigned a personal Development Manager whose aim is to help fulfil those ambitions and expand their horizons.

Induction (Weeks 1-4)

  • Exciting and empowering month-long induction, delivered by a Lead, Partner, Founder or our in-house Training Development Manager. We’ll teach you all the key skills needed to be a consultant and you’ll get to spend one week applying this on-site.

Extra induction (2-3 months)

  • After a few months, you’ll return with your induction cohort for a two-day refresher course. This will give you a chance to discuss your experiences and build on the skills you learnt in induction.

Consolidation (8-11 months)

  • Building on the skills you have gained so far from working on-site, this three-day course will advance techniques around efficiency and engagement to help you to deliver outstanding projects.

Becoming a Senior (15-18 months)

  • You’ll spend a week where we will help you prepare for your new responsibilities as a senior consultant. You’ll learn new management skills and improve your ability to build team and client relationships.

OTHER TRAINING

MANAGING PROJECTS:

Project management is key to the success of Newton. A two-day course will equip you with the skills and tools you need to be a great project manager.

LEARN TO CODE:

To improve your digital capabilities, we offer optional coding courses in languages such as Python and SQL, as well as more general coding training.

PRODUCTIVITY TRAINING:

A one-day course will give you a deeper understanding of the mind with strategies on focusing, managing expectations, and reducing the impact of distractions.

TRAIN NEW INDUCTEES:

Teaching is the best way to learn! You’ll assist in giving new consultants the first steps of the training that you underwent when you first joined.
