Your role at a glance

Managing the Client Order Management activities for LGIM’s institutional client base. Supporting the execution of core activities in a changing and dynamic environment, ensuring the provision of a superlative service which supports and stays aligned with operational and strategic goals, with an emphasis on reliability and compliance as the foundation of all operational efforts.

This role would be well suited to an experienced people manager (ideally within a busy financial services team) looking to help develop and train a high performing team in our Cardiff Office. No prior experience in Client Order Management is needed but an appreciation and understanding of the function would be useful.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively managing the Client Order Management (Pooled Fund) Team.
  • Implementing department strategy as necessary through staff.
  • Ensuring team structure supports the service provision and workflow is organised appropriately.
  • Identifying processes and service enhancements, or potential risks, ensuring the client service provided is of the highest standard and remains fully compliant.
  • Managing the resolution of complex outstanding items, business issues and rectify anomalies to ensure high-level of customer service.
  • Undertaking quality assurance of work to ensure errors are minimised.
  • Representing the team and department in a professional, collaborative, and commercially aware manner, developing good working relationships with all internal and external parties.
  • Ensuring the system infrastructure is robust, trusted and supports the longer term department strategies. Making sure it enables efficient operational service delivery in compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of platform operation processes and system

What we're looking for

  • Prior people management experience is essential
  • Knowledge of the Asset Management industry and the risks faced would be desirable
  • A passion for the development of individuals and high performing teams
  • The ability to efficiently organise workflows in a high pace environment
  • An understanding of process improvements and experience in implementing them
  • Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is desirable
