We are looking for an energetic Business Development Representative to join our sales team! In this role, you will be working remotely in the Netherlands or a hybrid 2-3 at our office in Amsterdam. You will reach out to brand new potential companies and work together with their engineering and purchasing teams to land the first deal!

What you'll do:

  • Close inbound deals (50%) and generate business through outbound activity (50%)

Inbound activities:

  • Seek and identify new sales opportunities for incoming high value deals
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to turn leads into active customers
  • Collaborate with sales people across the business, working closely with Mechanical Engineers on high value deals in the Northern European region
  • Researching customers and become subject matter expert in the manufacturing and additive manufacturing field (CNC, 3DP, Sheet Metal Fabrication and Injection Molding)
  • Carrying out product demos (95% remotely, 5% face-to-face).

Outbound activities:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our customers, industry and Hubs’ offerings
  • Effectively manage campaigns and reach out to new prospects
  • Lead generation activities using LinkedIn Navigator, among other hunting tools and outbound prospecting, calling and emailing
  • Research fairs and events in local market in preparation for sales team attendance and exposition

What it takes:

  • 0-2 years of experience in customer facing role with a strong motivation to achieve sales targets
  • A passion for engineering, specifically manufacturing
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Strong written and spoken language skills in English and preferably in Dutch
