This role requires a dynamic, results focused individual who is genuinely motivated by business development.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of executive sales support, business/account management experience, ideally in the financial services sector (although not essential). The candidate will be able to demonstrate a consistent record of success in, client research, client outreach and sales pipeline development support.

Main responsibilities include:

Support the Capital Markets business development (BD) management team:

  • Act as BD manager (internally) for a number of target client prospects
  • Drive Monitor, evaluate progress of BD activity through data consolidation and internal key account review meetings
  • Research and target identify client prospects within the investment banking, asset management, energy trading broader Capital markets sectors
  • Own, maintain and update various information, pipeline and sales databases
  • Manage day to day client outreach operations including email mail merge, LinkedIn and other campaigns, to enable warm lead generation, via outreach responses
  • Schedule client meetings, manage (senior leadership) schedules, to schedule and track client meeting progress, follow ups etc.

Act as the central knowledge management function for all BD activity

Act as administrator for Salesforce, including:

  • Track business development activities, assess results, produce MI, including sales pipeline management to guide senior management on business development refinement and optimisation.
  • Maintaining and developing pipeline dashboards/ reports and supporting analysis and interpretation of data
  • Oversee Salesforce usage and the opportunity pipeline
  • Produce periodic KPI’s from Salesforce and input into the annual review process.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience with a CRM system, ideally Salesforce, desirable
  • Strong communication and analytical capabilities
  • Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, gravitas, and be able to form strong working relationships with senior and more junior members of the team and those of other practices
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership of work and work to tight deadlines
  • A positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
  • Fluency in other European languages desirable but not essential
  • University degree

(Please note initially this will not be client facing and position more as a sales operations function)
