As part of the Oral Healthcare Business Development team you will be able to contribute to our global mission of defining how oral care transforms lives and makes lasting improvements on people’s health overall, by bringing healthy, confident smiles to millions of people.

You are responsible for

  • Support the overall activities of the Business Development team including markets KPIs management, financial planning, strategy enablers tracking.
  • Prepare trade decks and product presentations, business cases and briefing for commercial launches
  • Develop competitor analysis, Rating & Reviews reports, retailer presentations
  • Perform pricing and promotions related tasks, coordinating promo calendar and global price setting line charts
  • Closely work with upstream and downstream marketing teams to support business development

You are a part of

The Business Development (BD) Oral Health Care team, based in the Philips HQ in Amsterdam. The BD team is responsible to drive growth of the Oral Health Care business (Philips Sonicare & Philips Zoom) in all our global markets. The BD team is the linking pin between Business & Markets and works in close collaboration with senior management in the upstream team and Marketing teams globally.

To succeed in this role, you‘ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Currently studying towards Master of science in: Business Administration, Business Economics, Business Management, Economics
  • Strong analytical skills & Affinity for data
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on mentality, independent self-starter, proactive and solution oriented
  • Fluency in English (verbal & written), good communication skills

In return, we offer you

An internship at the Business Development team, in which you get the unique opportunity to work in a highly motivated international team together to drive our successful Oral Health Care business. You will develop a well-rounded business understanding, incl. sales, in-market performance, upstream & innovation development, downstream execution, and performance management.

Our intern remuneration package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €900 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
