Deloitte Private describes the part of our businesses working with clients across all types of private ownership – Private Equity, Family Enterprise and Emerging Growth Companies.

This role will lead on the strategic development, progress and execution of a selection of the NSE Deloitte Private priorities. Whilst having a focus on the Family Enterprise (FE) and Emerging Growth Companies (EGC) segments and influencing the leadership communities they operate in.

Your role

The role will involve working directly with the NSE Deloitte Private Leader, NSE Deloitte Private C&I leader and NSE Deloitte Private and NSE C&I communities.

The role will:

  • Lead the NSE Deloitte Private client portfolio including milestones such as the review and submission of the Global and NSE Deloitte Private strategic accounts, the Deloitte Private Geo DP Tier 1 accounts and all associated reporting including addressing any financial reporting challenges. The role will also drive greater industry collaboration across the NSE DP Tier 1 accounts whilst working collaboratively across the Geos to ensure maximum engagement.
  • Provide strategic direction, drive and operationalize the EGC strategy turning this into clear actions for the group and leading on the NSE execution of those actions – from the activity which directly targets the EGCs and that which targets the VCs and PE houses who we want to build stronger relationships with, and drive collaboration around the IP pipeline.
  • Provide strategic direction, drive and operationalize key priorities in the FE segment which drives an appropriate focus on our relationships with the business’s families run in addition to the professionalization of their wealth.
  • Entrepreneurially leverage all communication channels for both segments curating relevant and compelling content for the NSE Deloitte Private APP, ensuring best practice storefront, client offerings and wins and successes are shared across the NSE Geos.
  • Support specific investments, client bids and proposals which provide a NSE dividend.
  • Take Global, NSE and Geo Deloitte Private, FE, EGC insight and share this with the group to positively impact 1-2-1 client interactions along with 1-2-few and 1-2-many Geo programmes.
  • Leverage Global/NSE/Geo client programmes for the benefit of the Deloitte Private Community – Entrepreneur Summit, Best Managed Companies and Fast 50.
  • Work collaboratively across the NSE communities, contributing to the NSE Deloitte Private C&I community, building strong relationships and leveraging the best of what we are doing back into the NSE DP priorities mentioned above.
  • Provide support to the NSE Deloitte Private C&I leader on ad hoc strategy and operations requests.

Location:

  • This role will be focused on and based in NSE and will sit as part of the NSE Deloitte Private C&I community
  • This is a remote working opportunity and can therefore be based out of any of our NSE locations

Work pattern:

  • This is a 24-month fixed term contract opportunity, on a full-time basis.

Your professional experience

Essential

  • Essential to have working understanding of our market and client portfolios which extends to the Deloitte Private segments.
  • Project and programme management experience in a multi-stream, complex and ideally international context.
  • Demonstrable experience of strategic thinking, connecting synergies and implementation design whilst reporting on progress and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and build trust with variety of senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A self-starter who is proactive and flexible with the ability to operate in a remote working environment within a team in a complex fast-moving environment.
  • Passionate about driving stronger, deeper client relationships.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working across NSE teams.
  • Specific experience of working with clients/teams across the Family Enterprise and Emerging Growth Companies segments.
