Your role

We’re looking for a creative self-starter, savvy communicator, engaging storyteller, trusted advisor, and communications generalist ready to help take our internal cyber awareness communications to the next level. At Deloitte, we believe it’s everyone’s responsibility to help protect our clients and secure our organization. In this position, you will write, design, and implement cybersecurity awareness strategies and materials for our internal audiences. Together, we’ll create communications and training that inform, connect, and engage our complex global community to ensure that we’re cultivating a strong culture focused on protecting and securing our broader organization.

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in cybersecurity awareness communications and learning.

In this globally focused role, you’ll provide communications and education expertise and deliverables to the cybersecurity organization. This may include the following activities:

  • Work with The Global Cyber Culture program team to craft cybersecurity awareness and education plans that drive secure behaviors
  • Plan, research, and create high quality cybersecurity awareness communications deliverables including:
  • Videos
  • Emails
  • Articles
  • Compelling images/infographics
  • Web content
  • Training
  • Design objectives, support development, and implement cybersecurity educational experiences (e.g., micro-trainings, annual training, refresher training, cyber quizzes)
  • Tailor training and communications to effectively promote cybersecurity awareness to high-risk audience groups
  • Support a metrics framework that can effectively measure engagement, behaviors, and impact
  • Determine appropriate messaging, style, and context for communications deliverables that support the overall communications strategy; work creatively within Deloitte templates; adhere to the Deloitte brand standards; and reflect the needs of our various internal audiences

As part of the DTTL People | Internal Change and Communications team, specifically as a member of The Global Cyber Culture Program team, we create innovative communications and training to raise cybersecurity awareness for our 345,000+ Deloitte professionals in over 150 countries. We focus on providing top-notch communication support to our Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and work closely with their teams to understand their goals and deliver cybersecurity education and awareness strategies that engage our professionals and drive secure behaviors and decision making.

Location: UK Wide based role

Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis.

Your professional experience

  • BA/BS degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent
  • Experience in internal/external communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Eager to start or continue into the evolving field of cybersecurity
  • Superior writing and editing skills, with a proven track record across a variety of audience groups and channels
  • Ability to tell a clear and compelling story through PowerPoint
  • Advanced skills in the latest communications technology, including mastery of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to shift gears and manage multiple priorities with enthusiasm and energy
  • Proactive worker who can fit successfully into a virtual, dispersed team and has great upward management skills
  • Creative problem-solver; sees the value in active brainstorming and collaborative innovation.
  • Creative thinking and understanding of audience to produce engaging materials in a variety of formats and media, including storyboards, user guides, and gamification elements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization

Desirable:

  • Experience with internal cybersecurity awareness communications campaigns
  • Experience designing and implementing cybersecurity educational experiences (e.g., micro-trainings, compliance training, cyber quizzes)
  • SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) certification or any certification in marketing, organization change, or communication will be considered a plus / equivalent
  • Global mindset and experience working as part of a global internal communications community
  • Strong relationship building/relationship management skills with all levels
