- Drive the sales of relevant Canon Document Solutions products and services into nominated Canon Partners.
- Engage with Partner owners to drive the strategy and activities to grow the business to a mutually beneficial result.
- Build relationships with Sales, Technical and Back Office personnel at the Partner to influence the business and make Canon the preferred supplier
- Grow the share of the Partner business over and above the competitor products by understanding the market place the partners operate in and by generating compelling commercial propositions.

You will:
- To develop and increase sales revenue, profit and unit’s performance for specified partner accounts
- Support Partner management team to increase Canon share of partner spend and market share through sales activity
- Embed the Canon brand and maximise canon share of sales, across all Partners
- Develop Canon reputation as a supplier through valued business relationships and behaviour
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction is delivered, through detailed and agreed business plans, partner strategy and go to market activity
- Work with relevant colleagues to develop opportunities in the partner
- Define mutually agreed outcomes/ metrics and obtain Partner commitments in business development, marketing, and sales.
- Develop and execute well-defined, revenue-driving programs.
- Align Partner executives (sales leads, Service, Finance, functions, etc.) with their Canon counterparts, as required to support relationship growth.
- Actively promote Canon value proposition within the Partner, and Canon.
- Function as a strong advocate for the Partners.
- Clarify & communicate highest impact metrics (growth, customer success, etc.).
- Maintain accurate pipeline & results dashboards that communicate to key stakeholders the effectiveness of the Partner program & investments.
- Orchestrate business performance reviews to assess operational metrics/effectiveness on a recurring (quarterly) basis with Partner
- Ensure effective and timely communications on relevant announcements, programs, and performance – with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Driving Sales through close collaboration with Marketing and Sales Excellence function and the Business Generation Resources
- Generate and grow business within the accounts ensuring business plans, objectives, spend target and rebates are agreed tracked and managed.
- Provide appropriate project ownership and leadership for bids and tender opportunities
- Best practice sharing with across CUK business Units.
- Work in collaboration with other business units & CEL to provide the Partners with the wider exposure to Canon added value propositions
- Drive sales enablement actions, sales operations and sales planning activities defined in sales excellence through the Partners

What we ask
As the Channel Account Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise:
- Demonstrable experience in Partner Management including experience with a variety of partner types preferred (e.g. Partner, Dealers, VARS, MSP, ITR, Global SIs)
- Strong tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and execute in a rapidly changing environment, take charge and make things happen. Self-starter, with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspires others to follow and act
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to quickly analyse and apply relevant information to make timely and critical
- decisions that affect cross-functional teams to increase program ROI and effectiveness
- Understanding of sales, marketing, lead generation processes and key performance indicators
- Practical experience in supporting the sale and marketing of solutions with Partner Leadership
- Track record of delivering measurable results, regularly meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong executive presence & exceptional communication skills (verbal, written)
- Superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships

Salary – £35,105 p.a OTE £25,000 p.a Car allowance £440 per month
