Clients and Industries (C&I) is 400-strong enabling function of varied disciplines, with a common purpose of enhancing Deloitte’s reputation, relationships and revenue in the market.

The Client Relationship Executive (CRE) plays a pivotal role, working alongside the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) to bring the best of Deloitte to our clients. Our CREs focus on our priority account which are often sophisticated and complex in their nature, industry-leading or ‘house-hold’ names, and are regional, national and global in their footprint. CREs develop strength and depth in relationships, partner with the client and account team to leverage opportunities for growth.

Your role

The CRE role will focus on specific accounts within an industry, sector or dimension of the firm to support the LCSP by driving connections between people, insights and solutions across the firm and into the client. The CRE will work to develop their own relationships at the client in order to understand their culture, people and issues. The CRE will work collaboratively across the account team(s), industry leadership, the CRE team, C&I and Businesses.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Regularly interacting and relationship building with client stakeholders and influencers/buyers; Identifying and offering insights, thought leadership and points of view to the client
  • Developing a deep understanding of the propositions available across the Firm as well as the clients, sector and industry; Coordinating the Sales Pipeline and enabling the team to achieve revenue targets; Working with the team to develop and execute a 3 year account outlook and annual campaign strategy
  • Leading knowledge sharing amongst the team and providing team coaching on client challenges and trends
  • Leveraging stakeholder relationships to drive action and be the focal point of communications and activity on the account;
  • Reviewing and sharing information on client buying and the competitor landscape; Maintaining financial oversight and reporting for the account; Supporting in the development of an annual business plan and building knowledge of alternative pricing and delivery models.
  • appropriately and effectively monitor the risk profile on the account and compliance with compliance with contractual obligations
  • Sharing best practice and enhancing the CRE community and contributing to the enhancement of the industry and sector community by sharing client insights;

Location: We have CRE roles available in London and the regions. You will have a home office dependent on your location, but this role can provide the opportunity for travel.

Your professional experience

We have roles available at both the Manager and Senior Manager Level, depending on experience.

Essential

  • Proficient in Office 365 tools including leveraging intelligence through CRM systems
  • Quantitatively literate, confident with financial reporting and seeing the ‘story behind the numbers’ and identifying trends
  • Strong emotional intelligence, demonstrable success in building rapport and credibility with a range of people at different levels of seniority
  • Ability to make an impact that matters
  • Successful networker, an individual with a passion for making connections
  • Excellent stakeholder management, skilled in negotiating with and influencing key stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong track record of executing projects and initiatives to tight deadlines
  • Experience in a client relationship management role

Desirable

  • Professional services experience or knowledge of large, global, matrix style partnership organisations
  • Project management qualifications
  • Strategy & Operations or Engagement role experience
  • Knowledge of procurement, pricing and contracting
  • International experience or working with clients with a global footprint
