Your role – You can make an impact

As a member of the New Business Sales team, you will play a key role in the continuation of our successful growth. You do this by convincing prospects of our solutions which, in turn, increases our customer base. You offer them a high-quality, innovative SaaS solution that has a huge impact on organisations. These prospects can be found in a wide range of industries and building types (from corporates and landlords, to schools, healthcare institutions and more).

During your first year in the New Business Sales team, you will also fulfil an essential role as a commercial point of contact for your own customers. You are quick to connect with people, you understand business processes, and you can translate them into Spacewell solutions. This is a unique opportunity to utilise your technical and sales skills, such as networking, stakeholder management and direct sales, to make a successful contribution to our growth.

As a member of the New Business Sales team, you will be part of our Sales team and report to the Sales Director, Netherlands.

Your responsibilities

  • To see and make use of sales opportunities
  • To create your own leads (in cooperation with marketing, if necessary)
  • To convince prospects of the added value of Spacewell’s solutions
  • To make presentations and draw up quotations
  • To negotiate and enter into contracts
  • To attend trade fairs and events

What we are looking for

Our mission, as a PropTech company, is to have buildings work harder for their users. This is no easy task. To be successful in this role, you must have several years of relevant experience in New Business Sales. Experience in software/SaaS/IoT sales is an asset. You enjoy working in a high-tech environment. And you are a self-starter and an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial team player with strong communication skills who is energised by winning new assignments.

You have completed higher professional education (HBO), and you work and think professionally at that level. You are fluent in both written and spoken Dutch. In addition, you have a good command of the English language.
