Your role

Working within a diverse team across multiple geographies and collaborating with Microsoft you will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from developing automation, streamlining operational procedures, and building out cloud infrastructure consisting of the latest available public cloud services. We are looking for a talented Azure Cloud Engineer to join us on our journey as we expand our service across North and South Europe.

Your professional experience

Essential

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience - scripting and automation via Terraform, Python, AZ CLI / PowerShell, Bash, Bicep, JSON templates
  • Utilisation of CI\CD tooling such as Azure DevOps and creating pipelines for build, releases, and deployment
  • Using configuration management tooling such as Puppet
  • Utilising cloud native tools for backup, patching, monitoring and security compliance
  • Maintain and support the cloud services platform
  • Monitor and maintain multiple cloud solutions to meet project requirements
  • Respond to incidents and service health issues in line with service level agreements
  • Being part of an agile team participating in product backlog refinement and feedback ceremonies
  • Part of an on call 24x7 rota
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and hands-on experience of migrating workloads to Azure (Azure Migrate or other tools)
  • Logical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills with strong drive for results
  • Interest for Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow, learn and enhancing the skills in this area

Desirable

  • Operation and support of large, multi-account public cloud platforms
  • Any cloud architect / cloud administrator / Devops
  • Proven scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Proven experience of microservices and container-based systems (Docker, Kubernetes);
  • Proven experience of administering Window and Linux servers
  • Experience of agile project management approaches and product ownership experience (SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Experience of Puppet as a configuration management tool
  • Fundamental knowledge of security best practices in cloud
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and network administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)
  • Experience of administering and operating medium/large enterprise infrastructure and services in public cloud environments, including configuring backup, monitoring, patching and security of cloud resources
