We are currently recruiting for a financial reporting coordinator to join the UK Life Reporting function. You will lead on the coordination of Zurich Assurance Ltd’s (ZAL) UK GAAP reporting process – working extensively with our external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process, and with internal teams to produce ZAL’s external regulatory Solvency II Reporting, RSR and SFCR reports.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver on our commitment to customers and regulators.

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

Examples of responsibilities are:

  • Planning and coordination of annual external audit process. Working with internal experts and external auditors to execute the audit plan;
  • Planning, coordination and execution of the annual RSR and SFCR reporting process;
  • Supporting with the planning and coordination of ad hoc project work across the wider UK Life Reporting team;
  • Driving the continuous improvement agenda by building and executing a tactical implementation plan.

Your skills and experience:

  • You will be a qualified Accountant;
  • You will have experience of working with external auditors;
  • You will have knowledge of financial systems & business platforms (SAP an advantage);
  • You will have excellent time and task management skills;
  • You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills – both verbal and written;
  • You will be a proven quick learner;
  • You will have strong problem-solving skills and a high level of agility;
  • You will have a can-do attitude; and
  • You will have experience in building and managing relationships.
