The role

As SAP FICO Lead Functional Analyst you will be responsible to improve and design finance processes and translate them into SAP configurations. You have the opportunity to shape this role and share your knowledge with internal and external stakeholders as well as introduce innovative solutions in a dynamic environment. You will be part of a global team of 13. It is important that you are analytical, able to motivate others, and can speak both business and technology fluently. Requirements

  • Solid understanding of SAP FICO
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of understanding and knowledge of VAT
  • Experience with EMEA tax compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Experience in implementation of GST and TDS in India
  • Assume a leadership role in the technical and functional analysis, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, implementation, and daily support.
  • Technical experience including ABAP debugging, SAP tables, data dictionary objects, OSS note application, testing, and coordination with developers

Responsibilities

  • Provides SAP Tax expertise within EMEA and India
  • Collaborates with others in performing project assignment tasks
  • Participate in business discussions to collect the requirements, prepare documentation, design, configure, test solutions., and drive projects to closure
  • Coordinate with all stake holders to drive end to end solutions, deliver value, provide day to day support/trouble shooting issues
  • FICO Data Migration/Cutover activities of Master & Transaction Data
  • Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestiture projects
  • FI/MM and FI/SD integration Ex: Integrating with Treasury Management platforms (e.g., Kyriba) and Tax Compliance software (e.g., SOVOS)
  • Proactively challenge business processes and identify areas for process improvements.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Solid experience in SAP FI/CO and integration to Materials Management and Sales Distribution
  • Hands on Experience in end-to-end implementation, Support, data migration and roll out of projects in all phases of design, implementation, and testing.
  • Experience in Data Migration/Cutover activities such as master & transaction data.
  • Experience with upload tools like LSMW, BDC, report writer, Smart Forms, and RICEFW objects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Track record of supporting systems with global implementations

Qualifications

  • Required 3-5 years’ experience in SAP FICO Role
  • Required 2+ years of experience in lead SAP FICO Role
