THE ROLE

As KARL is engaging with a large-scale digital transformation, it is vital that the IT Team is scaled to initiate innovation and lift the IT landscape + business support. In this journey, IT aims to become a business partner that helps, guides, and provide E2E support to the user community in their daily work, as well as drive continuous improvement of platforms and processes.

The Security Officer will play a vital role in the transformation and needs to set standards that apply to all new and existing platforms, as well as vendors. He/she will also work together with the IT Team and the team of G-III, who has ownership of Karl Lagerfeld.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up, introduce and maintain company cyber security awareness program, including training an coaching of our teams
  • Develop, Implement, document and maintain security policies such as security policy, disaster recovery, incident response, vendor selection
  • Lead roll out of Identity & Access Management (IAM) via Okta for our organization
  • Lead process of Implementing application security for all solutions and vendors within our architecture, following Least Privilege Principle.
  • Review and document security level existing vendors
  • Support our network and support team on technical infrastructural development
  • Support security breaches together with the privacy officer
  • Facilitate, Support our yearly recurring IT audit

Profile:

  • Completed MBO+/HBO, Computer Science preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • High preference for cyber security certification
  • Experience with TOPdesk or other ticketing system
  • Good Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Proactive, service driven, agile, problem solving mindset
  • Excellent command of English language – verbal and written
  • You are flexible and able to work under pressure
