Job Description

  • Internship Data Management and Analytics Kitchen Appliances (KA)
  • Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
  • Duration: 6 month minimum; 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: September 2022

As a Digital management intern you will

  • Support the growth and development of our Kitchen Appliances Digital platform NutriU
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and dashboards
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with different markets providing guidance and insights through dashboards
  • Support business team, design team and product owners on how to measure and improve processes/products
  • Work closely with data engineers to jointly drive business requirements forward for KA
  • Gather insights and assumption to facilitate surveys to understand consumer needs and behavior
  • Targets definition and management for IoT product(s) and project(s)

You are a part of

Philips Kitchen Appliances, part of the Domestic Appliances Business Group. We drive activities related to the definition, development and introduction of products within the Philips Kitchen Appliances portfolio. It is located at the divisional headquarters in Amsterdam and cooperates with different divisions such as design, consumer care centers, innovation sites and country sales organizations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Previous experience in another internship
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Attention to details
  • Good communicator, with keenness to convince others. Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Having excellent planning and organization skills
  • For students outside EU/EER, internship should be compulsory by your education.
  • Must have : Technical expertise regarding database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques, marketing analytics
  • Knowledge with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
