Main Job Purpose:

The role operates within our Beauty & Personal Care team, where we supply products to consumers to improve their health and well-being, whilst having a positive impact on the world around us.

The Deodorant Category Analyst holds a critical role in supporting the category teams, factory network and market teams to drive business performance in this leading product group.

The role includes:

Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP):

  • Drive improvement of the operational S&OP between category and customer teams.
  • Ownership for the key business planning cycles (Rough Cut Capacity Planning, Long Term Capacity Planning and Annual Business Planning) including governance, data management, scenario planning and communication of outcomes to sales and marketing teams.

Portfolio management:

  • Lead the category planning of one of our sub-categories within Deodorants. This allows the chance to get real expertise in the area and to develop later into bigger roles.

Reporting and communication for Beauty & Personal Care:

  • Work across our team to bring data to life and make everyday business decisions with supply chain and marketing teams.

Planning expertise:

  • Own a pillar of our planning processes, eg safety stock and become an expert in new technologies to drive improvements across our community.

Support transformation and projects:

  • Bring structure and analysis to projects, helping the company to understand how to grow our business with profitability and positive impact on cash flow.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for on time in full delivery of reports and data sets.
  • Accountable for data management for all planning processes.
  • Accountable for Service and Inventory results for your part of the network.
  • Supporting in mid-long-term utilization scenario planning / Network planning.
  • Transformation planning.
  • Developing the reporting tools and methodologies used in the category.
  • Introduction of new technologies and ways of working into the wider team.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ Years in End to End Supply Chain operations
  • Supply chain (APICS or similar) qualification preferred.
  • Strong planning skills, or a strong attitude to planning (foresight, accuracy, attention for detail)
  • Basic financial skills
  • Strong SAP/APO knowledge
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong in strategic influencing
