You will lead a multisite, global team defining and maintaining the architecture IGT Systems products and you will be part of the overall IGT cluster architecture team.

You are responsible for

  • Driving harmonization and modular design of system architecture, product family platforms and technology choices in their assigned area of responsibility, compliant with the overall HealthSuite Reference Architecture and leveraging common platforms and technology choices.
  • Defining scope and problem domain in a crisp and structured way in a multi-disciplinary setting: defining the problem with stakeholders and identifying key issues.
  • Delivers a consolidated (reference) architecture: creating well-defined building blocks / system options & scenarios; choosing the optimal architecture for the business, leveraging technology, and contributing to/driving roadmaps; establishing control points (IP).
  • Ensures solid, up-to-date and usable documentation of the architecture, using methods & tools for a structured approach.
  • End-responsible for the accepted implementation of architecture, by explaining, convincing, deciding; incl. validation and verification; solving issues and learning from them; establishing architecture lifecycle management; and teaming-up for impact. Growing and coaching the teams implementing the architecture.
  • Acts within the total context (business, organization, roadmaps, external world, overall ecosystem etc.): driving for convergence; capturing / re-using prior art and in- and external trends; remaining up to-date with professional knowledge.
  • Managing a Global Architecture Team.

You are a part of

the R&D management team of IGT Systems, our business is responsible for marketing, development and manufacturing of minimally invasive solutions build around X-Ray systems. In this role you report directly to the Head of R&D.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • PhD or MSc degree in a relevant engineering background with understanding in hardware, mechanics and SW technologies
  • Working in a global team, leading a team with multiple nationalities and cultural background
  • Able to lead, motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Driving force on the team’s deliverables on quality and timely delivery
  • Analytical and creative thinker, delivers solutions with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Good communicator and a good listener, capable of interacting at all levels in the organization
  • Improvement attitude, leading by example
